It is in the heart of one of the most attractive landscapes in Tuscany, where spirituality and beauty of nature blend in a context of sublime tranquillity. The campsite is just a couple of kilometres from the majestic Sanctuary of St. Francis, a pilgrimage site known all over the world.In Chiusi della Verna the Castle of the Catani Counts is very famous too. Next to it there is a building dating back to 1000 AD, where Ludovico Buonarroti, father of the famous Michelangelo, used to live. This place has inspired Michelangelo to paint “La Creazione di Adamo” in the Cappella Sistina.It is surrounded by small mediaeval hamlets, monasteries and Renaissance sites, and provides an ideal starting-point for excursions throughout the area. The campsite is divided into 90 pitches of any size (the largest one is about 80 m2), some in the shadow and others in the sun. Within the campsite you can find a swimming-pool, a bar, a pizzeria, a playground for kids with a tennis-table and a beach volley field. Dogs and any kind of pets are welcome.
